Los Olivos is a reinterpretation of the typical picnic table and bench set. It's 3 meters long and it's made of solid iroko.

A project together with Oriol Villar from 2013 to 2020.

AOO was many things, but after all was a small and independent design company with the aim of making high-quality and honest wood furniture.

Wood was the starting point for our pieces, for several reasons; for its smell, its warmth, its human scale when working with it, but above all for being the most direct material you can find in nature.

Construction workers used to build a small stool made with 4 or 5 pieces of wood. Its shape and size can vary slightly, but it's always something simple, basic and crude.

Manolito is a reinterpretation, a synthesis of these objects led to the domestic sphere. The result is a very simple object without a clear function. It is a small bookcase unit, a stool, a small table, or a step to easily reach higher areas.
